A microsite is a small cluster of pages designed to function as an entity within your existing school website. The main landing page of a microsite sits within the school's domain, providing a seamless user experience for your website visitors.
Key features
Create multiple microsites: You can create multiple microsites to cater to different events, programs or initiatives.
Customisable design: You can change the logo, colours and content to establish a unique brand associated with your school. If you wish to change your microsite colours you will need to contact support or the design team to add an additional colour palette for your Microsite.
Versatility: Microsites can serve various purposes, such as promoting a school swim club, facilitating facility hire, capital campaigns or celebrating a significant milestone like a 150-year anniversary.
Microsites offer a flexible and effective way to target specific audiences and achieve distinct goals while maintaining a consistent brand presence. They also help distribute content across the dedicated microsite, easing the load on your school's main website navigation.

Creating a microsite
Create a new Entry, ensuring the Entry Type is set to 'Microsite Homepage'.
Content load the page as you would for any normal page — this page will act as the homepage for the microsite.
Microsite homepages have 3 additional tabs, these settings are global and will pass down the sub-pages within the microsite:
Branding: Here you can set Logos, Social Links, and — if requested and set up by Digistorm — a new Colour Theme for the microsite. For Digistorm to set up a new colour theme for your site, we will require your primary brand colour hex and an accent colour hex code.
Main nav: These settings are identical to the Navigation → Main nav settings in globals, so you can alter the nav for each microsite.
Footer: These settings are identical to the Navigation → Footer settings in globals, so you can alter the footer for each microsite.
How to add additional pages to your microsite:
Create a new Entry, ensuring the Entry Type is set to ‘Microsite page’.
Choose the Microsite Homepage you’ve just created as the parent for the page.
Continue content loading as normal.
