Global header and body code allows you to add scripts that apply across the entire website, such as for analytics, accessibility or marketing purposes.

Embed blocks let you integrate third-party content directly into your pages, providing flexibility to display external content without custom development.

These tools help ensure consistency, improve functionality and streamline website management.

Global Header Code and Body Code

The global header and body code is handy when you want to add features or tools that should apply across your entire website.

Common reasons to use the Header and Body code fields on your Digistorm website include the following;

  • Google Analytics or Tag Manager: Track user behaviour, page views and events.

  • Chatbots and Customer Support: Tools like Intercom or Zendesk for site-wide live chat.

  • Plugins for Accessibility: Integrate tools to enhance accessibility across the site.

Please note: Global codes should only be used for items that are not supported within the SEO Plugin. Navigate to the Sidebar > SEO > Tracking Scripts to confirm.

  1. Navigate to Globals > Global Code

  2. Enter the code snippet you wish to add

  3. Hit Save

Embed Section

The Embed section lives within both the Standard and Premium Design library. It allows the user a flexible way to integrate third-party content while keeping the site dynamic and engaging.

Common Examples for schools to use the Embed Block

  • Application and Enquiry Forms: Like Funnel Forms.

  • Digital Publications: Showcase school magazines, or annual reports in a flipbook format, eg, ISSUU.

Navigate to the page you wish to embed content on.

  1. Entries > Pages > Select the page

  1. Within the “Content” tab of the page. Select and add the Embed block.

  2. Title your embed block > Paste your embed code from your third party> Save.
Note: You can use the Design tab to adjust the background colour and width of the embed section.
