Receiving a lot of spam form submissions? Here are some simple ways to keep them at bay...

On Craft 4:

Navigate to the Forms Section

Click on the Settings Cog against the Form you want to reduce spam for

Under the form settings, click on “More Options” and toggle on reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA can help detect and prevent bots from submitting spam forms.

Additionally, you can add a “Honeypot” by selecting a word. Honeypots are decoys that can also reduce spam submissions.

Don’t forget to hit the “save” button once done.

These 2 prevention tools can help decrease the amount of spam submissions you are receiving.

But keep in mind that bots are getting smarter by the day and these measures are not a certainty. If you are still experiencing high volume of SPAM after enabling reCAPTCHA and Honeypot, please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.
