Overview
Using Schoolbox as a Single Sign-In provider allows you the same sign-in flows for different user groups as on the web version of Schoolbox.
To start this process, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or our support team via live chat.
They will also be able to provide you with access to the App Config Portal mentioned below.
Before you start
Before you start you will need the following:
A superuser Schoolbox account
To be running a Schoolbox version newer than 24.0.0
The Digistorm redirect URI
This will be shown as the Callback URL in the App Config Portal
This will be similar to https://app-oauth.digistorm.io/UUID/callback
Set up in Schoolbox
Navigate to:
Administration > System Settings > oAuth Client Configuration
Press "ADD OAUTH CLIENT" and provide the following details, fields not mentioned below can be left blank.
Name - this should be a name that is appropriate for your community as well as easily identifiable to you in the future as being part of the Digistorm app
Redirect URI - the redirect URI mentioned above
Click Add to create a new client.
You must copy the client secret before closing this screen, it can not be shown again.
Providing these details to Digistorm
You will need to add the following details to the App Config Portal:
Client ID - from Schoolbox
Client Secret - from Schoolbox
Base URL - the base URL of your Schoolbox instance without the trailing slash, for example, https://schoolbox.digistormcollege.edu.au
Once this has been actioned please let your Digistorm contact know, who can finalise the set-up.
