How to enable two-factor authentication for Eduapp CMS users

Introduction

Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) is an important step to protect your Eduapp accounts.

Enabling 2 Factor Authentication for users

Users with the Settings and Users permission can enable 2FA on their account and on other users.

Navigate to the Users menu

Open Edit on the user you would like to enable 2FA for.

Set Require Two-factor authentication to yes

Onboarding flow

You will be shown a QR code when logging in after 2FA is enabled on your account.

You can scan this code in a password manager like 1Password or a dedicated app like Google Authenticator.
