As part of ongoing security improvements, Digistorm will soon be switching to Amazon Web Services SSL certificates. This will allow us to improve the security of our systems and ensure the uninterrupted functioning of forms for your custom domains.

Below we will detail some important updates we need you to make by 17 September 2023. If these updates aren’t made by this date, custom domains will be redirected back to non-white-label Digistorm domains. For example, your form domains would change from https://forms.digistormcollege.com/enrol to https://d-au-qld-1.app.digistorm.com/forms/enrol.
What do you need to do?
To ensure the seamless implementation of the Web Application Firewall and continued protection of Funnel, we kindly ask you to update your DNS records as follows:
Log in to Funnel
A list of domains configured to your account will be displayed
Select View Details against any Pending Action domains
Instructions for configuring the records of your domain will appear in the window (you can also email the instructions to another team member)
Once you’ve completed the instructions, the domains should list as Active and no further action is required.
Note: The DNS updates usually take some time to propagate. While the propagation time can vary, it typically takes up to 48 hours for the changes to fully take effect.

FAQs:
Q. Is this change something all users need to action or can we do it once per school? An email was sent to all Funnel users asking them to action the changes. Only those staff who have access to their DNS records are required to make the change on behalf of their school.
Q. What happens if my DNS Host doesn't support the underscore in the Verification Record? You can exclude the opening or trailing underscore in the Verification Record and this will be accepted.
Q. When does this change need to take effect? We are asking schools to make the change by 17 September, 2023.
Q. Why are we making this change? For the improvement of Funnel and the data we store, we’re constantly making security improvements to our infrastructure. As part of the switch to Amazon Web Services SSL, we’re implementing Web Application Firewall (WAF), which protects web servers from unwanted or suspicious traffic.
Q. What impact will this have on Funnel performance? This will have a positive impact on the performance of the system. This is one of many improvements we’re making to the performance of Funnel, as we’re actively working on enhancing Funnel's speed and responsiveness.
Q. What happens if I don’t make the change? If you don’t make the change, your form white-labeled domain will be redirected back to the non-white-labeled Digistorm domain until you’re able to make the DNS updates required. For example, your form domains would change from https://forms.digistormcollege.com/enrol to https://d-au-qld-1.app.digistorm.com/forms/enrol.
Q. What if I don't have a login to Funnel? Not a problem as another Funnel user can email you the instructions by navigating to Settings > Domains and selecting Email the instructions to another team member. A window will appear asking them to enter an email to send the instructions.
