How to find and correct an 'user defined area error" on the TASS integration with Funnel

When exporting a lead from Funnel to TASS, there are limitations with the combined size of files / documents that can be exported.

The limit is 20MB, meaning if a lead has files that exceed a combined total of 20MB you will receive an export error. For example:

When viewing the lead profile, look in the Files section. Here you can see the total size of each file in grey at the end of the file name:

In the example above, the lead would fail the export as the combined total is more than 20MB.

To fix this, please follow these steps:

  1. Download the files that are too large and compress them so they are smaller. There are free online tools you can use.

  2. Search for the relevant field on the lead profile and select edit:

    You can then remove the existing file and re upload the smaller version.

  3. Replace each file that you have compressed

  4. Check the combined total of all files doesn't exceed 20MB and then try to export the lead again.

Also try adding help text to the form, to request smaller files from parents/guardians.
