If you've not previously requested access to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager who will be able to help with the setup process.

  • Once your access is set, open your Google Analytics account and look for the
    new account.

  • It will have your school name and your "Digistorm Code", for example, "Example College d-au-qld-1"

  • For older customers, you may have access to 2 accounts; a Universal Analytics account and a Google Analytics 4 account. We have more details about this below.

When your Analytics window opens, you'll see general usage and viewership details
such as unique users, total views and average views per user.

To get a far more detailed look into your App usage statistics, follow the below path: Reports > Engagement > Pages and Screens. This path is found via the left-hand menu bar.

When the page loads, you will initially see the views by "Page path and screen class over time” stats. To view the usage stats of each App module, you need to change to views by "Page title and screen name”.

To change the date range of information you wish to view, click the drop-down menu
in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Regularly monitoring your Google Analytics is the perfect way to make sure your school is getting the best out of its App. It will also give you a road map for any future changes and/or additions that you may want to make to improve the experience of your App for your users.

For customers with both Universal Analytics and GA4

In mid-2023, we started migrating our customers from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4 due to Google deprecating this system.

All historical data before October 2023 will remain available under your "Universal Analytics” account until Google removes this feature.

For customers with both Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4 accounts, the GA4 account will include this in the name.
