Follow up great events with targetted communications

You've worked so hard to put together an amazing event; your follow-up communication shouldn't let all that hard work go to waste!

Your follow-up emails can be the easiest part of your event and can be very powerful. Funnel events let you know the exact event a family has registered for, and the Funnel check-in app or the QR code lets you know if a family attended.

With this information, along with Funnel emails, you can create a seamless and complete event experience.

Start by building two templates, one for a "sorry we missed you" message and another for a "thanks for coming along" message.

The "sorry we missed you" message should include information about other ways they can engage with your school. The "thanks for coming along" message should provide a summary of the day and potentially some frequently asked questions, or a link to register for a virtual 'Ask Me Anything' session to cover any follow-up questions.

It's also a good idea to include any next steps in this email too, for those who are happy and would like to proceed with applying.

You can set up the next part in advance you can set up in advance using dynamic lists and schedule send function in communications, or you can manually post the event.

To manually post the event, enter the Funnel event section and filter based on attendance.

Once you've selected your filter bulk select the registrants and select Send Email. You can then select the communication template you prepared earlier.

Repeat this process for the opposite filter. and you'll have successfully sent informed and targeted follow-up event communications.
