Learn how to prevent duplicate form submissions for the same lead

When sending a pre-populated form link to a family via a Funnel communication, you can restrict a parent from submitting the same form twice for a lead. This could happen if:

  • The parent forgets they've completed the enrolment application and submits it again.

  • The parent fills out a second application form for the following year as a backup if their child doesn't get accepted for the year they're applying for.

By default, multiple form submissions for the same lead will be restricted for 6 months.

The alternative options are:

  • Allow all - the parent can complete the form via the pre-populated form link as many times as they want

  • Restrict all - the parent can never complete the form twice via the pre-populate form link

  • Allow one per month - the parent can complete the same form via a pre-populated form link 1 month after the previous submission

  • Allow on every 6 months - the parent can complete the same form via a pre-populated form link 6 months after the previous submission

If a parent attempts to access the form (via the pre-populated form link) during the restricted period, they'll receive the following message:
