How to test your new Enrol form

Follow these tips to thoroughly test your form and make sure it's good to go before you publish it.

How to access your new form

  1. Once in Funnel, navigate to the Forms module from the menu on the left

  2. Find your new form in the list. If you can’t find it, check the filter at the top of the page.

  3. Click on the form title to open the form in the Form Editor.

  4. There are two ways to view your form:

    1. Open a form preview. This view can be reached by clicking “Preview” at the top of the screen. This lets you preview the form, skipping any validations (e.g. you will not have to enter required fields). On the right of the screen, you can change to mobile view to see how the form will appear on a mobile device.

    2. Open an external link. This can be viewed by clicking on the arrow icon at the right of the screen (or the three dots at the top left, and select “Open form”). This will open the form so you can view it exactly as your families will see it.

  5. To thoroughly test the form, we recommend using both of the above methods during the testing process. That way you'll know it's in tip-top shape!

Things to check

  • Are all the fields you need included?

  • Are there any fields you don’t need?

  • Are the instructions clear?

  • Does any of the help text need to be adjusted?

  • Are the “required” fields marked correctly?

  • Do any show/hide conditions need to be added?

  • Are your form notifications (both internal and external) being received correctly and are they in the right format?

  • Is the payment amount correct? You can test this in the form preview mode.

  • If applicable, are leads being mapped to the correct pipeline stage?

Making changes to your form

If you need any new fields added or new options added to your fields, please make a note of the changes and send them to us to be actioned.

You can make all other changes yourself using the form editor. You can find further handy resources below.

If you need additional training on the form editor, please book a time with your Digistorm team member. If you're a new Funnel client, that will be your Onboarding Specialist, if you've been with us a while, it will be your Customer Success Manager.

Complete a form

Before you go live with your form, make sure you have successfully completed a test form submission using the external link to your form.
